NEMRA Launches New Rep Of The Future Study with FCG
The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) is launching a new “Rep of the Future” research study. The Farmington Consulting Group, authors of the first ROTF study released in 2010, have been commissioned by NEMRA to produce the new research. The “Rep of the Future” project is intended to educate NEMRA members, both representative firms and manufacturers, about the changing electrical channel environment, identify future business scenarios, and suggest actions they can implement to enhance the viability of their businesses. The study will be conducted over the next four months with the results presented in a special forum at the NEMRA16 Annual Conference in Dallas on February 3, 2016.
“We are pleased to have Tom and TJ O’Connor of Farmington Consulting Group conduct the follow up research to our very successful 2010 study. The results from their original work have been used extensively in developing our program and service initiatives for our members over the past five years, said Ken Hooper, President of NEMRA. “We anticipate that the new study will be equally as informative and provide reps and manufacturers with a valuable updated baseline for continuous improvement.”
